Terms and Conditions

 

General information

CHAMBA cannot guarantee that all items are in stock. Should any problem occur concerning your order we will contact you via email. Please make sure that your email address is correct when placing an order. CHAMBA reserve the right to cancel any order in case of missing stock or irregularities.

 

Payment

CHAMBA accepts payments with credit card (Mastercard, VISA, VISA Electron, VISA DK, American Express Discover, JCB and Diners Club).
When the purchased item(s) leaves the warehouse, the amount will be deducted from your account.

All prices are in DKK (including a VAT of 25%).

CHAMBA uses an authorized payment server that encrypts all your card information with a SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol. This means that all of your information and details are encrypted and kept safe, and that it is not possible to read your information.

 

Shipping and delivery

We only ship within the borders of Denmark (not including the Faroe Islands nor Greenland). If you live outside the borders of Denmark and wish to place an order, please get in touch with us at hello@chamba.dk.
When ordering before 12:30 we ship the same day. When placing orders later than 12:30 we strive to ship the parcel the same day, though we cannot guarantee this.

We strive to deliver your shipment within 2-5 days when shipping to Denmark.

We will typically ship with DAO.

CHAMBA holds no responsibility of delays in shipping or delays caused by any occurrence contingency beyond its reasonable control, including, but not limited to, strikes, lock-outs or other serious labour disputes or acts of nature.

The customer will pay for shipping unless another agreement has been made.

Shipping prices will be enlisted when placing an order.

 

Cancellation and returns

As prescribed in the Danish Sales of Goods Act customers can return items bought from the CHAMBA webshop within 14 days from the day they receive the items.

Cancellation must be notified to hello@chamba.dk no later than 14 days after the purchase, and from the cancellation you must return the item(s) within 14 days.

Cancellation, and return of items, is only possible when informing hello@chamba.dk. When returning items, please write ”Cancellation” as subject. Please state clearly in your email that you wish to make use of your right of withdrawal.

Please, note that returns are only accepted on unused items that are in the same shape and condition as when shipped from our warehouse. You are only liable for any deterioration of the value of the item due to handling other than what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and manner of the item. This means you can test the product in the same way as if you were testing it in a physical store.

If the item is tested beyond what is described above, the item will be considered as used. This means that in the case of making a withdrawal of the purchase, only a part of or none of the purchase amount will be returned, depending on the commercial value of the item.

CHAMBA are not to pay expenses regarding cancellations and returns. Return of items are always to be made using track & trace.

If a refund has been agreed upon, please send your bank details to hello@chamba.dk. We will then transfer the agreed amount to your bank account.

 

Claims

As prescribed in the Danish Sales of Goods Act by law, all items are covered by the Sale of Goods Act (§83 part 1), rules about 24 months of warranty. This means that within 24 months of the purchase you have the right to make a claim about faults or defects.

Faults or defects caused by improper maintenance, unintended usage and wear and tear are not covered by the warranty.

You must inspect all items delivered upon receipt. Upon visible damage a claim must be made within two days. Please send your claim to hello@chamba.dk (subject: claim). Your claim should include your order number and photo documentation of the reason of your claim.

A claim can be made if the items have been misshaped during production, are somehow defect upon delivery, or are clearly miscoloured.

Claims cannot be made for items with scratches or marks made from usage, miscolouring made by faulty cleaning or, including but not limited to, miscellaneous reasons such as products broken by customers.

Please note that CHAMBA products are all handicraft made from natural materials. This might cause some irregularities in the glazing, colour and/or shape. These irregularities only emphasise the handicraft and makes every CHAMBA product unique.

If you ship a claim you will be reimbursed the cost of shipping, when the item(s) is received at CHAMBA and acknowledged as a claim. Return of items are always to be made using track & trace.

Cookies

The CHAMBA webshop is using cookies. Cookies are referring to files that will be saved on your computer, mobile phone, tablet etc. It will help save your settings, run statistics and help us target ads.

Cookies cannot contain malware.

Privacy policy

Any information that can be tracked back to you as an individual is considered personal data. When using the CHAMBA webshop we will register certain data. E.g. if you sign up for our newsletter, enter competitions or place an order at the webshop.

Typical registered data could be name, phone number, email address, address and payment information – data that is often necessary for placing an order.

The information will be used to identify your purchases and payments.

With your consent the information may be used in services that you approved such as newsletters.

The information helps us improve services and content.

Information will only be saved in the amount of time legal by law. We will delete the information, when it is no longer considered useful or necessary.

The data is stored and processed with the highest security methods and is never forth given to unknown third-party providers.

You have the right to know the information that CHAMBA registers and saves. Furthermore, you can make an objection on the registered information at any point. Please do so at hello@chamba.dk.

If you want to make a complaint about the handling of your personal data, please, contact Datatilsynet.

The CHAMBA webshop is following any regulations concerning the European GDPR Security Act.
